Dennis and I get challenged daily regarding if social media is just a fad or not. If you need proof, perhaps the clip will help to answer that question!

Facebook is only second to a personal phone call for communications!

Whenever I hear this question (social media being a fad), I think of Tony Steward with LifeChurch TV telling how they meet people at their place of pain.  Well, with your rocking Facebook FanPage, you are meeting the people where they live.  You aren’t having to drag them in off of the streets.  This is where they are comfortable.

Facebook is the second most popular form of communication!

I think the message here is clear.  If you want to get the word out about your product or service, this is one area that you can’t afford to let blindly go by the wayside.  Your competitors are here.  You should be as well.  Once you get a FanPage, then keep them engaged and possibly get them to your site.   Just be sure you have a reason (meaning regular content updates, engaging with them with discussions and contests etc) to keep them coming back!

Do you have a Facebook Fan Page?

Here is your opportunity to let others know about it.  Let’s support each other people!  Tell us about your FanPage (along with the address) and then check out some of the others listed here.  Then become a fan!  It doesn’t cost anything and the info that is provided is often very good.

I will go ahead and get us started.  By the way, this is YOUR opportunity to get a free backlink!  As such, don’t forget to include the http://www.yourdomain.com     A simple www.yourdomain.com won’t count with google :)

Believe it or not, not doing social media right can actually harm your business.
